L-E-A-R-N, L-E-A-R-N, L-E-A-R-N

there's this method in films that in order to establish a chracter trait (since a film only lasts for usually 90 mins, you have to establish in a short period of time), you have to show the character portray the said trait 3 times. watch any hollywood film and you would know what i mean.

after years and years of studying, i just found out that in order to learn, you have to repeat the subject material again and again and again. most especially in practical stuff.

sheesh. was i that unresponsive to learning that i was only able to state this fact now? (i usually study a subject material once, due to cramming disorder). i mean, others know they are learning/mastering a skill by doing stuff over and over again, BUT NOT KNOWING/STATING that that is what they are doing.

next time i take a exam, i STATE that the 3-times-rule is in effect.

PS

Ben Folds has new album which is reviewed here.

I only heard the song on a radio station i don't normally listen to (someone else's car stereo) and saw the video on mtv. i really thought ben folds five already made a reunion. but alas, it was only doing the piano/bass/drum set-up alone. i miss ben folds five (darren jesse wrote the song "Magic", one of my most favorite BF5 songs), and ben is definitely on the mellow track since settling down. hope this new album is shipped here in RP.
