Enter the World of Mobile Yet Cheap Computing..

..Not a laptop. More of a LAPDRIVE.

A mobile hard disk drive originally intended for a laptop is now a portable 80GB USB-connected data drive by using an enclosure that converts the IDE port of the 2.5" HDD to USB.

This has been a practice of a lot of PC USERS for a while, and it's only now I made the jump. Thru the need of back-up for files in thesis writing. Next agenda will be a portable STORAGE device that can be connected not only thru USB, but Firewire - a faster port. If the pockets allow, that is.
