All fans are surely delighted to know that the girl we all adore and love is the next poor little girl Narda who transforms to the Pinoy superheroine Darna.
She doesn't only goes by a heavenly name, or fly in the sky as a Mulawin. She now dons the costume.

I'm sorta hoping they get Carlo Vergara to write the series, but that's a next-to-impossibility. I was hoping for a modern update to the story - Darna in the big city and all and screw comic history :P, but I just know it's gonna be all about the "Ding ang bato!" shtick. And as required by law, I have to say that Angel looks really cute.
I'm sure the they will all re-live the Vilma Santos sequences. Ike Lozada (rip) as one of the "Giants" returns vividly on my mind. Hehe...
Man, have you seen the teasers? Angel is a goddess. As what a superheroine should be. They did the "comic-book-comes-to-flesh" thing. Uber cool.
