Non-Drowsy

I have in my possesion a Non-Drowsy Neozep tablet. I think for over 3 months now.

I don't want to take it since I still believe my body can heal on its own.

Yet I'm still nauseous.

Maybe I should believe that this Drug is my friend.

Good bye [Phenylpropanolamine Hcl Paracetamol]. You're going down.

Prophetic

It's only now that I understood this FULLY.

You have to choose ONE Dream at a time.

If not drop all the rest.

SUPER

I can't believe I even liked X-Men 3.

After watching Superman Returns, that is.

Bryan Singer is the Man! (That sounds so politically incorrect.)

Superman Returns shows qualities that surpasses the typical comic-book-turned-movie genre. It resonates more than action sequences will show. It evokes emotions you never thought you would for a god among men wearing tights.

I was sure there will be quiet moments in the film. That was expected of Bryan Singer. That's where his characterization lies.

That also means dragging parts for people who waits for the next big explosion. But hey, how would you even anticipate the next big CGI scene if you weren't set-up with the slow parts before going to the money shots?

It felt nostalgic and continuous because Singer made it a point to pay homage to the first Superman movie. Marlon Brando lives as Jor-el and his teachings are recalled over and over again throughout the film.

Having watched Superman I-IV before watching Superman Returns, I felt the goosebumps of viewing Superman Returns as an ante-upped version of Superman The Movie.

The Helicopter rescue in Superman The Movie evolves to the Airplane CGI party in Superman Returns, where Superman rescues Lois Lane in both scenes. We also see the modified elevator-like ascent, Singer's take on the 'I spend a night with Superman' scene, with brandon routh and kate bosworth. And one of the most important parts is upping the ante of Lex Luthor's scientific mind and criminal genius with him using Krypton Technology. Amazing!

I also like the aspect of the movie exploring a story concept for Superman not still found in the comics. I immediately found it as a 'very hard to write part' for the sequel, but I'm trusting the screenwriters to have plans on how to handle this.

As always, Singer has a certain take on comic book movies. He 'gets' it. X-Men 1 and 2 were his warm-ups. We all see how seamless it has become for him in Superman Returns. It's not all about explosions. X-Men 3 be damned.
